Processing & carriers
Orders placed before 14:00 CET Monday to Friday are dispatched the same or next business day — we ship within 1 business day. Orders placed on weekends or Belgian public holidays ship the next working day.
We ship with PostNL (primarily for Benelux destinations) and DPD (Benelux and the wider EU). Every order includes a tracked label; you receive a tracking link by email the moment the label is scanned by the carrier.
Delivery zones & transit times
Transit times below are carrier business days after dispatch, not counting the day we hand the parcel over. Peak seasons (late November through early January) and public holidays may add 1–3 days.

Islands, mountain regions and remote postal codes may require an extra 1–2 days at the carrier’s discretion. If your destination isn’t listed above, contact us at hello@milodesign.eu before ordering and we’ll confirm whether we can ship there.
Shipping rates
- Free standard shipping on orders of €250 or more to any EU destination.
- Standard shipping under €250: €9.00 flat to all EU destinations (Zones 1–4).
- Non-EU destinations (Zone 5 — UK, Switzerland, Norway, Iceland): rates are calculated at checkout based on weight and destination.
- Expedited and signature-required services, where available, are priced and offered at checkout.
Customs, VAT & duties (Zone 5)
For orders shipped to the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Norway and Iceland, recipients are responsible for any import VAT, customs duty and handling fees charged by the destination country. The carrier collects these on behalf of local customs at or before delivery.
Prices shown on milodesign.eu are exclusive of non-EU import taxes. Every parcel ships with a commercial invoice declaring accurate goods value and HS codes to keep customs clearance as quick as possible. We cannot under-declare value on request.
If a parcel is refused at customs or returned to us because import charges were not paid, we will refund the order value minus the outbound shipping cost and any return-to-sender fees the carrier charges us.
Lost, delayed or damaged parcels
Please notify us within 7 days of the expected delivery date if your parcel has not arrived. We’ll open a formal investigation with the carrier and keep you updated. Once the carrier concludes its enquiry, we’ll either re-ship your order or issue a full refund.
If a parcel arrives damaged, email hello@milodesign.eu within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the outer packaging and the affected item(s). We’ll arrange a replacement or refund and handle the carrier claim on your behalf.
Once a carrier confirms delivery to the address you provided, we cannot be held liable for subsequent theft or loss — but we will help you pursue a claim with the carrier where one is possible.
Returns at a glance
You have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal under EU law (see the full notice below), and we extend this as a goodwill policy to 30 days from the date of delivery.
- Items must be unworn, unwashed, with original tags attached and in their original packaging.
- Return shipping is paid by the customer unless we agreed otherwise in writing, or the item was faulty or not as described.
- Refunds are issued to your original payment method within 14 days of us receiving the returned goods.
- Exclusions: items made to your specifications or clearly personalised, and sealed hygiene items once unsealed (see Art. VI.53 Belgian Code of Economic Law, noted below).
- Zone 5 returns: customers are responsible for any outbound import duties already paid; these are recovered from the destination customs authority, not from us.
How to return an order
- Email hello@milodesign.eu with your order number and the items you’d like to return. We respond within 2 business days.
- We’ll confirm the return and send you the return address and any reference number to include.
- Ship the items back to the address below, ideally with a tracked service. Keep your proof of postage until the refund is issued.
- Once we receive and inspect the return, we process the refund within 14 days to the original payment method.

Right of withdrawal — mandatory notice
You have the right to notify us that you withdraw from the purchase, without penalty and without giving any reason, within 14 calendar days from the day following delivery of the goods.
Withdrawal & returns (statutory)
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which you — or a third party (other than the carrier) indicated by you — acquire physical possession of the goods. To exercise this right, notify us in a clear statement (e.g. by email) of your decision to withdraw, before the deadline expires.
To exercise the right, send an unambiguous statement (e.g. the model form below) to hello@milodesign.eu. You may also use this address for any return query.
Return the goods to Ignite Media COMMV, Mouterij 9, 3190 Boortmeerbeek, Belgium, without undue delay and in any event within 14 days of notifying us of your withdrawal. Direct return shipping costs are borne by the customer unless we agreed otherwise in writing.
We reimburse all payments received from you, including standard delivery costs, within 14 days of receiving the returned goods (or proof of return shipment), using the same payment method you used for the purchase, at no extra cost to you. We may withhold reimbursement until we receive the goods back.
You are liable only for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.
The statutory withdrawal right does not apply, among other cases, to goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised, and to sealed goods unsuitable for return for hygiene reasons once unsealed (Art. VI.53 Belgian Code of Economic Law).
Legal guarantee of conformity
Goods purchased as a consumer are covered by the 2-year legal guarantee of conformity under Belgian law. If a product is not in conformity with the contract, you are entitled to free repair or replacement, a price reduction, or termination of the contract, on the terms set out in Directive (EU) 2019/771 and Book VI of the Belgian Code of Economic Law. This guarantee is independent of, and additional to, the right of withdrawal.
